Job Creation Program

Toronto - The Canadian Export Development Corporation announced today that it is funding a giant puppet factory in Carolyn Parrish’s riding of Mississauga-Erindale. The factory will produce three-meter high caricatures of George Bush and Tony Blair for export to the European Union and parts of Massachusetts.

The factory is expected to create hundred of jobs over the next twenty years, however critics of the program have pointed out that neither man is likely to be in power in five years, and that building a puppet factory based on only two political figures is not a sustainable development strategy.

Responding to the criticism, Ms. Parish took a long drag on her cigarette, squinted, and ordered her staff to forward the names of “any bastard who criticises the factory” to Revenue Canada, to have their last seven years of income-tax returns “reviewed”.
