American Newspaper Hierarchy

I found this on a Mexican pro Palestinian Web Site. I had no idea there was such a thing. Especially one as big as this, it's CBS, CNN, and the NYT rolled into one. I'll guote from some articles ...

"The United States today continues to act out the psychotic imperialist impulses of Manifest Destiny. It's slavish support for the criminal apartheid theocracy called Israel manifests all the early sick fantasies of the Puritans, a hateful sect which left England with the express intent of finding new land and people to rob and murder, emulating the jews of the Old Testament."

"Los Angeles, Alta California - January 30, 2004 - (ACN) La Voz de Aztlan has received startling revelations that Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, and contender for the USA presidency, has Jewish roots and is a card carrying member of the sinister secret society at Yale University called Skull and Bones."

Someone is even calling for the establishment of an 'Hispanic' homeland, as though there were such a people.

Intellecually spectacular prose for sure, for sure. But all is not lost, there was an article I found amusing ...

American Newspaper Hierarchy
1. The Wall Street Journal is read by the people who run the country.

2. The New York Times is read by people who think they run the country.

3. The Washington Post is read by people who think they ought to run the country.

4. USA Today is read by people who think they ought to run the country but don't understand the Washington Post.

5. The Los Angeles Times is read by people who wouldn't mind running the country, if they could spare the time.

6. The Boston Globe is read by people whose parents used to run the country.

7. The New York Daily News is read by people who aren't too sure who's running the country.

8. The New York Post is read by people who don't care who's running the country, as long as they do something scandalous.

9. The San Francisco Chronicle is read by people who aren't sure there is a country, or that anyone is running it.

10. The Miami Herald is read by people who are running another country.

It's a good concept but needs some work. Can you spot the author's obsession? I think it has something to do with 'running' something. Gotta be a Marxist in there somewhere, but with a sense of humour, Oy.

Italics Mine

P.S. Apparently the Bill Handel Radio show did a sketch, called a skit here ....

"The following is a transcript of a hateful and bigoted anti-Islamic skit that aired on Los Angeles radio station KFI-AM 640 (Clear Channel Communications) on March 10. The radio show is hosted by a Jew named Bill Handel who has a history of making obscene and racist remarks against non-Jewish ethnic, racial and religious groups including Mexicans. The skit has prompted a Muslim civil rights group to demand FCC action.]

[I thought it was funny.]

Assh*les are everywhere, aren't they? Even though it's funny, and we can laugh at them, they represent a very dangerous philosophy followed by quite a few deranged individuals.

Aztlan is the nation they would like to create in the US southwest. These are scary idiots.
